  • 1934: Head pro at Tuscarora Country Club
  • 1935-1974: Head pro at Lafayette Country Club
  • 1935-1962: Winter pro at Hollywood Country Club, Florida
  • 15 time Central New York P.G.A. champion
  • Won C.N.Y.P.G.A. crown 11 years
  • Won the Daily News Pro Driving Contest
  • Won more than 250 one-day tournaments
  • Past President of C.N.Y.P.G.A. chapter for several years
  • Was a member of Golf Course Superintendent’s Association of America
  • Augie Nordone designed the back nine of the County Club of Syracuse (Layfayette CC). Lafayette was founded in 1922 on the scenic hills south of Syracuse. It rose to national prominence in the 1930s under famous club pro Augie Nordone, who played in 15 U.S. Opens and 25 PGA championships and remained at the club until his death at age 68 in 1974.
