  • 1942 - 1945: Played football and baseball at North High School, selected All-City in basketball.
  • 1944 - 1945: Bob was first team all city in basketball.
  • 1945 - 1947: Played on Fort Lewis basketball and baseball team for two years while in the service.
  • 1948 - 1950:: Played varsity basketball at Syracuse University.
  • 1950 -1968: St. John the Evangelist basketball and baseball coach
  • 1968 -1970: Cathedral Academy basketball and baseball coach
  • 1970 -1978: Christian Brothers Academy basketball coach.
  • 1956 - 2000: High School basketball official, member of International Association Approved Basketball Officials local board #38
  • 1969-1986: Officiated college basketball games, member of Eastern College Athletic Conference
  • 1977: Awarded the Vic Hanson Medal of Excellence by the Syracuse University Hardwood Club
  • 1990: Won IAABO Board #38 Silver Whistle Award for over 35 years of service as a basketball official.
  • 1993: Received the Blind Men and Criers annual “Joseph Schwarzer Award” given to an official who has been recognized for outstanding ability.
  • Basketball record at St. John the Evangelist, Cathedral Academy, and Christian Brothers Academy: Won 328 games, lost 108, regular season record not counting playoff or non-league games, took four Parochial regular season titles, six Parochial League playoff titles, two All-City titles, four Central New York Cities League championships and three consecutive Section Three Class A titles.
  • Baseball Record: Won one City title and eight Parochial League titles.
