Walter Ludovico

- 1940: Played varsity football at Christian Brothers Academy, first athlete to earn All-City football honors for both guard and quarterback positions.
- 1941-1943: Joined US Army Air Corp in World War II
- Boxing instructor at Christian Brothers Academy. Awarded boxing scholarship at Manhattan College
- 1948 -1961:-Teacher and football coach at Christian Brothers Academy. Had seven unbeaten seasons and four City/County Championships. Won 38 straight league games
- 1948 & 1954: Voted Syracuse areas Coach of the Year
- 1953: Voted All-Catholic, All-American High School Coach of the Year
- 1957-1989: Thirty year member of City of Syracuse Common Council
- 1962 -1964: Football coach for Liverpool High School
- 1965 -1968: Started the Bishop Ludden football program, head coach
- 1967: President of North Side Catholic Youth Organization
- 1967: Outstanding Coach in Central New York Award
- 1987: Received The Purple and Gold Award, given by the Christian Brothers Academy Alumni Association
