1965 - 1973: All-Star softball player on the Rochester and New York teams including Xerox, Breton Motors, ALs Green Tavern, and Mazzola/Castle "National" Team.

1973: Named MVP of Rochester Classic League

1968 -1971:Participated in four ASA Regional Tournaments and the National ASA Class A Tournament in Parma, Ohio.

1974 - 1981: Played softball locally with All-Star Sports, Cannons, Finelys over 35 and The Come Back Inn.

1977 - Played on the World Champion Maxzzola-Castle team in the World Series held in Petersburg, Virginia.

1978: Played one year of professional softball with Rochester Zeniths.

1978 - 1984: USSSA umpire in Central New York and was selected to umpire in USSSA mens Class B and Class C divisions.

1983: Elected into the U.S. Slo-Pitch Softball Association Hall of Fame.

1988 - 1990: Played with Beavers Dam Over 40 Team in Baldwinsville.

1991: Played in USSSA Mens Masters World Series in South Carolina with Ronnies Legends of Rochester.

Eichelberger was named to the USSSA All-World Team four different times, this outstanding softball player was known as one of the toughest outs in the game.
