  • Born: 10/24/1948, in Syracuse, New York
  • 1965: Nottingham High School- All-City football, defensive tackle.
  • 1966-1969: Amherst College- Varsity football linebacker/tackle.
  • First Amherst graduate to enter professional football.
  • 1970: Signed pro contract with Miami Dolphins of the NFL
  • 1970-1975: Linebacker with Dolphins.
  • Member of the "No-Name Defense".
  • All-Rookie selection;
  • All-AFC team,
  • Three Super Bowls in six season, played on undefeated 1972 Dolphins team.
  • 1976: Retired from pro football, entered Medical School, University of Pennsylvania.
  • Present M.D. in Anesthesiology, Philadelphia, Pa.
  • 2004: Nottingham High School retired his football jersey
