  • Played first tennis at Schiller & McChesney Parks
  • Member of Sedgewick Farm Tennis Club for over 50 years. President for over 30 years. Provided programs and scholarships for kids at Sedgewick Farms. First to bring tennis to the Syracuse elementary school level.
  • Contributor of tennis articles to the Syracuse Newspapers. Certified Member of the US Pro Tennis Association
  • 1957: Part-time leader for the City of Syracuse Recreational Committee. Tennis consultant and member of the advisory staff for Dunlop Sports.
  • Served as the co-organizer and Chairman for the USPTA in Upstate New York.
  • Director of Athletics and coach for basketball, football, and tennis at Manlius Pebble Hill School.
  • Coached tennis at Le Moyne College.
  • Held clinics with Don Budge and Bobby Riggs
  • 1968: Developed instant replay recorder to aid in teaching the fundamentals of tennis.
  • Honorary Member of the Tennis Association of Central New York.
  • Help clinics at Lourdes Camp, Marcellus High School and Boy and Girls clubs. Active in Little League Baseball; coached All-star team. Physical Education Instructor at St. Rose of Lima school
  • 1992: At age 80, received USPTA 30 years of service award.
  • Recipient of the "Volunteer Service Award" from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
