Felisha Legette-Jack, a prolific scorer both at the high school and college level, has transitioned into an accomplished college basketball coach.

At Nottingham High School, Legette-Jack became the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,700 points. She went on to star at Syracuse University where she totaled 1,526 points and 927 rebounds. She graduated as the second-leading scorer and all-time leading rebounder in SU history. Legette-Jack also won the Big East Rookie of the Year award in 1985 and was a three-time all-league pick.

After graduation from SU, Legette-Jack became the Westhill High School girls basketball coach. She joined the college ranks in 1991 as an assistant at Boston College. Then in 2001, Legette-Jack took over as head coach at Hofstra.

During the summer of 2003, Legette-Jack served as an assistant coach for Team USA at the 2003 FIBA World Championship for Young Women in Sibenik, Croatia where the team won a gold medal.

After guiding Hofstra to its first-ever post-season tournament, Legette-Jack was named head women's basketball coach at Indiana University in 2006. She is also a member of the Syracuse Urban League Hall of Fame and the Syracuse University Orange Plus Hall of Fame.
